Dr. Marlin is the father of three and the husband of Evangelist Lawana Marlin. They have been married for 31 years. Pastor Marlin had his first encounter with God at the crusade of the Late R.W. Shambach in Jacksonville Florida when he was five years old. As a youth he attended "I Hope Church of God Apostolic". As an adult he studied under the teaching of Morris Cerullo. He attended the International Miracle Institute studying under Apostle Dr. Christian Harfouche and received his  Doctoral degree in Christian Theology. Pastor Marlin has been preaching the gospel of the Kingdom for 20 years. He also has a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental Health Science and is a dual graduate of Georgia Southern University.
